The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced General Superintendent for a high-profile project at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This key role involves leading a team of superintendents, managing field operations, and ensuring that safety, scheduling, budget, and quality requirements are met. You’ll be onsite every day, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery while fostering a positive team culture.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily field operations, ensuring trade contractors and sub-contractors produce high-quality work in line with the project schedule.
Manage the project budget for general conditions and site services.
Maintain thorough knowledge of contract documents to anticipate and address potential issues.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and serve as the primary safety representative in the field.
Lead contractor meetings, oversee project quality plans, and manage job site logistics.
Create and update project schedules, and implement contingency plans as necessary.
Aid in the development and growth of the project team, maintaining a culture of safety and collaboration.
What's Offered:
Our client offers a competitive salary, ranging from $130,000 to $178,000, based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
10-15 years of experience overseeing large commercial/industrial projects ($15-50+ million) in a superintendent role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore.
Thorough understanding of construction safety processes, scheduling, and cost control.
OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
A commitment to fostering a "safety-first" culture, and experience supervising project teams.
