The Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced General Superintendent for a high-profile project at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This key role involves leading a team of superintendents, managing field operations, and ensuring that safety, scheduling, budget, and quality requirements are met. You’ll be onsite every day, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery while fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations, ensuring trade contractors and sub-contractors produce high-quality work in line with the project schedule.

• Manage the project budget for general conditions and site services.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of contract documents to anticipate and address potential issues.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and serve as the primary safety representative in the field.

• Lead contractor meetings, oversee project quality plans, and manage job site logistics.

• Create and update project schedules, and implement contingency plans as necessary.

• Aid in the development and growth of the project team, maintaining a culture of safety and collaboration.

What's Offered:

Our client offers a competitive salary, ranging from $130,000 to $178,000, based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

• 10-15 years of experience overseeing large commercial/industrial projects ($15-50+ million) in a superintendent role.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore.

• Thorough understanding of construction safety processes, scheduling, and cost control.

• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.

• A commitment to fostering a "safety-first" culture, and experience supervising project teams.
