The Role:

We are seeking an Estimator to join our team who is eager to grow and develop alongside us. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals with some experience in estimating, whether from a subcontractor background aspiring to transition into general contracting or from within a GC environment seeking a more hands-on, entrepreneurial atmosphere. The ideal candidate will thrive in our down-to-earth team culture and be ready to contribute to projects ranging up to $2 million in scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to accurately estimate project costs, timelines, and resource requirements.

• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates and proposals.

• Conduct on-site evaluations and assessments to gather essential project data and identify potential challenges or opportunities.

• Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to streamline the estimation process and ensure accuracy.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project requirements, address inquiries, and negotiate pricing agreements.

• Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and labour rates to inform competitive and cost-effective bidding strategies.

• Support project teams throughout the construction lifecycle, offering insights and assistance as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
